Waste Disposer
The premise behind the proper use of a Waste Disposer is to effectively regard food scraps as liquid as they contain an average of 70% water, just like human waste, and if used they can utilize existing infrastructure (underground sewers and wastewater treatment plants) for its management. Most modern wastewater plants are effective at processing organic solids into fertilizer products (known as bio solids), with advanced facilities also capturing methane for energy production. Todayâ??s Waste Disposer comes with stainless steel cutters and they have the unique odour/anti-bacterial shield which is essential to reduce unpleasant odours from the sink from which it is fitted. Supplierâ??s warranties can sometimes vary slightly according to each model of Waste Disposer. If you have a sink that is more than 20mm thick it is not a problem but you will need a sink bush that can e extended. Food scraps can make up 10% to 20% of our household waste, and are a problematic component of household waste, creating public health, sanitation and big environmental problems at each step of their travel.
